Eight Transitional Deacons called to the Sacred Priesthood for Cleveland

March 16, 2025

Eight Fifth Year seminarians, transitional deacons, have been called by Bishop Edward Malesic, Bishop of Cleveland, to Ordination to Sacred Priesthood on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Cleveland.  In his letter calling the men to Holy Orders, Bishop Malesic reminded them that their seminary years “have been a time of formation – human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral – and now by Sacred Ordination, you are to be molded in the likeness of Christ our High Priest.”

Please pray by name for these eight deacons in these final weeks of preparation: Pictured (l-r): Dc. Christopher Cotone, Dc. Kyle Rosser, Dc. Jon Hawkins, Dc. Jeffrey Lindholm, Dc. James Parisi, Dc.
