First Theology Seminarians instituted to Ministry of Acolyte

“Make your life worthy of your service at the table of the Lord and of His Church.”

On Friday, February 9, 2024, seven first theology seminarians were instituted to the Ministry of Acolyte. The Most Rev. Edward Malesic, STL, Bishop of Cleveland, presided with Most Rev. Michael Woost, Auxiliary Bishop of Cleveland, Rev. Andrew Turner, President Rector, Rev. G. David Bline, Spiritual Director, and Rev. Michael Balash, Vicar for Clergy and Director of Seminarians for the Diocese of Youngstown. Priest faculty and pastors of the candidates also concelebrated the ritual Mass.

Candidates for the Diocese of Cleveland: Sean Homcy, Alexander Krukemeyer, William Reed, Joseph Rohan, and Joshua Stecz. Candidates for the Diocese of Youngstown: Daniel LaPolla and Craig Ziobert. Please pray for these seminarians as they continue their formation and draw nearer to the “table of the Lord and of His Church.”
