On Saturday, June 3, 2023, two seminarians from the Diocese of Youngstown were ordained to the Order of the Diaconate by the Most Reverend David Bonner, Bishop of Youngstown. In the presence of Most Reverend Michael G. Woost, Auxiliary Bishop of Cleveland and many priests of the diocese as well as faculty members of Saint Mary Seminary, Kevin Bertleff and William Wainio were ordained transitional deacons. Deacon Kevin and Deacon Will will serve in a parish and complete their studies Saint Mary Seminary in the coming year in preparation for priesthood ordination in May, 2024. Please keep all the seminarians in prayer as they prepare to serve the Church.
